WITB: Corey Conners, 2023 Valero Texas Open Champion, loves TPC San Antonio. Just his second win on Tour, both coming at the Valero Texas Open – the first in 2019, the second 2023. WITB: Sam Burns – 2023 WGC Match Play

WITB: Sam Burns, 2023 World Golf Championships Match Play winner, “cruises to the… Match Play win” stated Cameron Morfit of the PGA Tour. Winning 6 & 5 is a darn near blowout. Seeded 13 of 16 competitors in the Match Play, Sam bested Cameron Young, Scottie Scheffler, Mackenzie Hughes, and Patrick Catlay. With his new set of Callaway Paradym woods, Burns was his stoic, usual self as he racked up 48 birdies over the four days. His closest match was against Scheffler, dropping a birdie on the last hole of a playoff to advance. WITB: Taylor Moore – 2023 Valspar Championship

  WITB: Taylor Moore, 2023 Valspar Championship winner, shot 4 under on Sunday and may have surprised the field. But to him and his caddy, it was no surprise – the hard work paid off. This is Moore’s first win in just his second season on Tour. And this win secures PING’s first PGA Tour win of 2023. Jordan Spieth fell to third and Adam Schenk took second after being tied with Moore at 10 under. This win also gets Moore into the upcoming Masters Tournament – a dream come true. Happy Retirement PJ Garber!

What a ride!  PJ joined us a little over 25 years ago and has been a key part of our growth and development as a high tech club fitting company!  From a background in sales and the golf industry, PJ has developed a very loyal following and helped a ton of golfers improve their golf games.  PJ has literally done it all.  When he first joined us, he would fit golfers during the day and build clubs at night.  As we grew and expanded, he trained our new employees on fitting and building clubs to our very exact specifications. Now, the next chapter!  PJ has outfitted a van for travel and will be heading out to see his family and friends next week.  His last “official” day is next Monday, March 20th…his 75th birthday!  Be sure to call or text him as he gives his contact information to all of his customers!! WITB: Scottie Scheffler, 2023 THE PLAYER Championship winner, was uncatchable Sunday even after a slow start. Scheffler’s win propels him to #1 in World Golf Rankings for the second season in a row. WITB: Chris Kirk, 2023 Honda Classic pulled off an emotional win in a playoff.
