LA Golf Shafts (LAGP) is creating some very interesting shaft designs for a wide variety of golfers. Their first introductions, the TRONO and OLYSS are designed for stronger players, with the TRONO being developed in conjunction with Bryson DeChambeau. Later this month, the AXS line will be introduced for moderate to slow swing speeds and a variety of launch conditions.
TRONO
This series of shafts is designed to have a very firm mid section, a stiff, yet responsive tip and a softer butt section for delivering more feel. Designed for players with swing speeds over 105 mph and medium to fast transitions, this shaft is also lower launch and lower spin than competitors in the marketplace. Available in 65 gr and 75 gr in S, X and TX flexes. The 55 gr shaft is not available at this time but should be released in the next 30-60 days.
OLYSS
The unique blend of Zylon/Carbon weave in the butt section of this shaft gives it a slightly counterbalanced property for use in today’s heavier driver heads. The profile of this shaft creates a more low-mid to mid launch and low-mid to mid spin. Available in 55, 65 and 75 grams, this should fit players in the 85 to 105 mph driver speed looking for tighter shot dispersion and more mid launch.
