Chris Kirk 2024 Sentry
WITB for Chris Kirk, 2024 Sentry winner and securing his first win since 2023 at the Honda Classic. Chris is playing a mixed set of Callaway driver, TaylorMade fairways, Callaway irons, combo Callaway JAWS and Titleist Vokey wedges and new Callaway AI putter. Again, this shows that the manufacturer really does not matter, it is the performance of the clubs that counts. Chris ended up making eight birdies on the final day enroute to a one stroke victory in some windy conditions.
Taking the 54 hole lead into the final day, Chris shot eight under to win the Sentry by one stroke. While Chris is not the longest off the tee, his approach shots and scrambling ranked 1st in strokes gained. And, his approach shot on 17 was pretty much the shot of the day!

With the help of PGA Tour, Golf Digest, and Golf WRX, we examine Collin’s winning equipment.
- Driver: Callaway Paradym Triple Diamond 9 set to 10.7 with Fujikura Ventus Blue 6 TX. He averaged 281 yards with his driver while hitting 58% of fairways. Not too bad.
- Fairways. Chris chose to play his TaylorMade Stealth 2 Plus 15 degree 3 wood and a Stealth 2 18 degree 5 wood. Both clubs had the Ventus Blue 8 TX shaft.
- Irons: Chris played the Callaway Apex Pro 4 iron and Apex CB 5-9 iron. The shaft he played is the Project X LZ 6.5 at 125 grams. This is a great shaft with the Loading Zone (LZ) technology for more feel and mid trajectory.
- Wedges: This is where Chris gets a little eclectic, which is probably why his strokes gained on approach and scrambling is so awesome. He plays a Callaway Jaws MD5 46.10S @ 47, 50.10S, Vokey SM9 56.08M, and Jaws Raw 60. All of his wedges have the True Temper S200 Wedge shafts.
- Putter: Callaway Odyssey AI Milled Six T CH with Stroke Lab 90 steel shaft. Chris switched from the AI Seven he was using in 2023 after more extensive test with the mallet style Six.
