If you have not been to Scotland to play the Old Course at St. Andrews, it is a bucket list must. And if you have been there and played the course, The Open this week will bring back a lot of memories. My best friend and I played there the year of our 50th birthdays and the weather was absolutely stunning. When we hit our first shots it was pretty humbling to be playing a course with so many Open “moments”. Luckily we played the New Course the day before so I finally was used to the links-style course and making sure I didn’t fire at the pin (the pin was pretty safe all day, I might add). I will never forget The Road Hole and certainly crossing the Swilcan Bridge on 18. My guess is Jordan Speith is on a magical journey right now and this could be his year. DJ just needs to seal the deal if he is close. And, I think Justin Rose is playing well enough to win it. What are your thoughts?
