Mizuno is releasing its next line of JPX irons in September. Very cool new products with advances in technology to create more forgiveness AND distance. And even better, new offerings for left handers – Hot Metal and SEL Forged!
JPX 921 Hot Metal and Hot Metal Pro
Instead of being forged from soft carbon steel, the Hot Metal irons are cast from 4140 Chromoly, a much harder material. Its strength allowed Mizuno designers to make the faces of the Hot Metal irons very thin.
JPX 921 Forged
While the long and mid-irons are each 1 degree stronger lofted in this edition of the JPX Forged, they are still comparable to the lofts found in most better-player irons, with a 5-iron at 24 degrees and a 9-iron at 40 degrees.
JPX 921 Tour
Aesthetically, the JPX 921 Tour irons are designed to appeal to elite golfers. The topline is thin, there is minimal offset and the look is clean.
JPX 921 SEL (Left Handed)
The JPX 921 SEL is a combination of 6-GW JPX 921 Tours with JPX 921 Forged 5, and 4-irons. All the flow, geometry, and materials technology from the right-handed models combined into one cohesive set.
