Based on the formula for the original Project X shafts, the new Project X LS (Low Spin) shafts deliver on the promise. These shafts are heavier in weight (120, 125, 130) in stiff flexes, (6.0, 6.5, 7.0) which is what our stronger players want.
These shafts will launch lower and spin roughly 500 rpms lower than the original Project X shafts. This is increasingly important for today’s elite golfers with fast tempo, transitions and swing speeds with a 6 iron over 95 mph. Specifically, if you are playing forged players irons like Mizuno MP-20, Titleist MB or CB, Srixon Z785 or Z blade, TaylorMade p760 or TW, these will be shafts you should consider.
These shafts are available in taper tip only in the following flexes:
Description 6.0 Flex 6.5 Flex 7.0 Flex
Weight 120 gr 125 gr 130 gr
Spin Low Low Low
Launch Low Low Low
Lengths 2i – W 2i – W 2i – W
If you are playing heavier shafts in your irons currently and are not happy with the launch, spin and shot dispersion, you owe it to yourself to check the Project X LS out!
