Just completed testing the Kuro Kage Proto (TiNi) 70 against its little brother, the Kuro Kage Black. As you can see from the shaft profile chart at the left the two shafts profile very similar except that the mid section in the proto is a bit more stable. When I tested the two shafts (both built to my specs) on Trackman, the only differences I found was that the Proto launched about a half degree lower and had about 300 rpm lower spin. I loved the smooth and stable feel of both shafts but the Proto just seemed to be more stable at impact. Maybe it is just the cool ion-plating on the Proto but I am putting one in my driver next week!
