For the first time ever, True Temper Shafts Sweep Pebble Beach!  Yes all 14 clubs in the winners bag (including his putter) had True Temper shafts.  Let’s take a look.

Driver:  Project X HZRDUS T1100 65 6.0 –  Yes, 6.0 because it actually plays to 7.2.

Fairway:  Project X HZRDUS T1100 75 6.0 –  Again, plays stiff to stated flex.

Hybrids:  Project X Even Flow Black 100H 6.5 – About right, 6.5 flex

Irons:  4-9 True Temper AMT X100 –  Will play to about 6.2 depending on length.

Wedges:  46* – AMT X100, 54*, 60* – Dynamic Gold S400

Putter:  True Temper putter shaft – center shafted

This is a clear case of the winner having the confidence in the True Temper team to build him the proper clubs based upon their knowledge of the shafts and the winner’s swing.  That is why custom building MUST follow custom fitting!  If you order clubs with off-the-rack shafts you are getting clubs made for Jack or Jill Everyone.
