Well, the wait was worth it.  The Miura MB-101 is a beautiful looking iron with shades of influence from the original MB-001.  Designed for the pure blade player, the MB-101 has all of the classic looks you expect from Miura but better turf interaction and feel.  Available in sets only, 3-PW and 4-PW.   I wish Miura would allow split sets as a combo set of MC-501 3-6 and MB-101 7-PW would be awesome.  I put in my 2-cents worth.  Will see what happens!                       Dan Sueltz

Get  your 2020 clubfitting while your swing is still grooved.  Now that the season in the northern climates of the world is getting a little cooler, take an introspective look at your game and then go get a good clubfitting.  Don’t wait until 2020 as there are a lot of new head, shaft and grip options hitting the market this fall, and your swing is still in good shape from playing this season. The first thing you should do is take a look at where you were successful (putting, chipping, driving?) and where you struggled (hybrids, distance gaps, accuracy with irons?).  Be honest and think about where you lost strokes and what happened (thin, fat, poor contact, slice, hook?).  Your fitter should ask you a lot of questions about your shots and what you want to accomplish:  Improved Accuracy?  Increased Distance?  More Consistency?  Then you should concentrate on what segments of your game are costing you the most strokes and eroding your confidence. It started with PXG.  Well, no, it started with HONMA.  And the other Japanese companies like Miura, EPON and Royal Collection.  But it was clear from the start that PXG was differentiating itself with premium designed products and premium pricing.  What has followed has been a continual introduction of premium products, especially irons, by many of the major companies in the golf industry.  Titleist CNCPT, Callway EPIC Forged and the new TaylorMade P790Ti are the latest releases in this space.  Some are available now while others will be available later in the Fall of 2019. So, schedule your fitting and find out which of these new premium irons will work best for you!
