True Temper Has More Iron Shaft Options for Stronger Players

TrueTemper-Product-DGAMTTrue Temper Dynamic Gold shafts have literally set the standard for iron shafts on the PGA Tour.  The Dynamic Gold Tour Issue shaft is the most played but is getting quickly followed by the Dynamic Gold AMT Tour Issue.  The AMT (Ascending Mass Technology) means that the longer irons weigh less (3 grams between each iron) and the shorter irons get heavier.  All this is accomplished while still keeping the swing weight constant through out the set.  This allows stronger players that like a little lighter feel in their longer irons to still maintain the traditional Dynamic Gold trajectory.

Introduced a few years ago and still in the line-up is the Dynamic Gold Pro, or DG Pro shaft.  Darren Clarke played this shaft when winning The Open in 2011 and loved the progressive flex profile, step pattern, weight profile and internal material distribution which delivered optimum trajectory, accuracy and feel.

Finally, as Tour players get stronger, True Temper is re-introducing the Dynamic Gold X7, its stiffest and heaviest version.  The X7 will be available in January, 2015.

If you are a stronger player and want to explore some new options, make an appointment for an iron fitting and we will put you through the paces with our BGF Fitting System.  The Dynamic Gold Tour Issue, Dynamic Gold AMT Tour Issue and Dynamic Gold X7 shafts are only available through True Temper Performance Fitting Centers like D’Lance Golf Performance Center.  Make your appointment today!
