Golf Digest Announces 2011 America’s 100 Best Clubfitters

Englewood, Colorado – Golf Digest, the leading golf information publication, for years has used its equipment pages to extol the virtues and benefits of going through a proper fitting before purchasing golf clubs.  Their readers have naturally followed up that advice with a question: So where should I go to get fit for my clubs? For the first time in its 60-year history, Golf Digest is giving its readers its recommendations for the best places in America to go for a clubfitting.

 

Their process for determining America’s 100 Best Clubfitters involved three criteria: (1) The location must be open to the public, (2) There must be access to clubs made by top manufacturers, (3) The fitter must be nominated by one of the following: one of our 900-plus raters of America’s 100 Greatest Golf Courses, golf association executives, top teachers or other industry sources. They also asked facilities to complete a survey detailing their resources, expertise and methodology. A list of more than 700 leading fitting facilities was then evaluated by their judges before they decided on the 100 Best.   D’Lance Golf Performance Center was selected as one of America’s 100 Best Clubfitters for 2011.
