MCC OZIK Shaft Sets the Bar for Premium Shafts! Just when you thought shaft technology was about as good as it gets, along comes the new OZIK TP-6 (high launch), OZIK TP-7 (mid launch) and TP-7x (low/mid launch) shafts from MCC(Matrix Composite Corporation). Developed with over four years of research, this shaft is the only shaft that has a Xylon sleeve throughout its length. Xylon is used in body armor and is 1000 times stronger than Kevlar. This creates a more stable shaft that recovers extremely fast from its loaded position and dampens the vibration typically felt in low-torque shafts. TheTP-7 uses two Boron wraps of extremely high fiber content throughout the entire length of the shaft. These Boron wraps create a higher torque but with a better feel because the high Boron strand count allows for better energy transfer. In addition, two other proprietary graphite materials are used in the manufacture of these shafts. Because of its unique design, this shaft is available for right-handers only! That's right, a shaft that is literally designed for the right-handed golfer. These shafts are available in all flexes. The TP-7 is a 70+ gram shaft so it fits golfers with a little higher ball speed and slightly faster downswing time. The TP-7 is available in a low/mid and high trajectory so we can help dial in your optimum launch angle. The TP-6 shaft runs $750 and the TP-7 runs $1,200, installed. In our testing, this shaft has an extremely good feel, creates a very low spin rate, and has given most players an increase in distance of 3-5%. MCC has just released a new shaft series, OZIK XCON, that creates the ultimate in energy transfer from the butt section of the shaft to the tip at impact. The unique design of this shaft using proprietary materials has generated quite a buzz among golfers looking for high launch, low spin performance. This shaft comes in 55 through 80 gram weights so we can fit most every golfer. These shafts run $350, installed. This shaft literally creates a slingshot effect through the hitting area, but with a very stable tip section that creates a high MOI and yet increases ball speed with reduced spin rates. OZIK CODE Series. If it is a lower launch angle you are looking for, but still want a reduced spin rate, then the OZIK Code Series is for you. Because of the premium nature of the OZIK line, this shaft contains unique fiber designs that maintain the performance of the OZIK but at a slightly lower price point. These shafts run $350 installed. D'Lance Golf Performance Center is a certified OZIK Specialist. If you truly want the best performance available, then the OZIK line is your choice. Practice
