Chris and Darryl did really well and will be key performers for their franchises in Calhoun, GA and Burleson, TX. Just heard from one of our amateur players, a 4 handicap, who had a career low round of 67 at CommonGround Golf Course in Aurora, Colorado. We put a couple of UST Elements Wind shafts in his driver and 3 wood, and KBS Tour shafts in his RBZ Tour hybrids and Mizuno MP-R wedges. Congratulations, Greg!

D’Lance Golf – Sixteen Year Anniversary This Week!

Well, it is hard to believe I have been following my passion for 16 years in the golf business. My passion for golf actually started 40 years ago when a good friend of mine convinced me to learn to play golf. My first set? Hogan Apex blades…yikes! We have seen a lot of changes in 16 years, not only in equipment, but the tools we use to evaluate our customers. High-speed and High-Definition video give us a lot of new information. Launch Monitors mean we know a lot more about club head delivery and launch characteristics. Internet and smart phones mean we can share information instantaneously and help fit golfers around the globe. Pretty exciting stuff! Can’t wait to see what the next 16 years bring!

Golf Etc. Franchisees from Florida, Georgia an Indiana Get Clubfitting Training

Several new Golf Etc. franchisees are going through training on the essentials of custom clubfitting and tour-level club building. Jason Rogers, Sebring FL, and Tim Milligan, Calhoun, GA are new franchise owners and expect their stores to open in June. Scott Walters will be working at the Avon, IN franchise. Helping golfers of all abilities play better golf…faster is the goal for these guys! Everyone picked up the concepts quickly and built their own set of custom clubs.

D’Lance Golf Named to Golf Digest 2013 Top 100 Clubfitters in America

We were notified today that we received the honor of being one of Golf Digest’s Top 100 Clubfitters in America for 2013. Golf Digest makes this list every other year. We were selected to the the list in 2011, its first year. Competition was very stiff this year and several clubfitters that were not on the list in 2011 made it this year. Chris and Bruce at Golf Etc. Wichita have a great facility to dial you in to the right equipment for your game. With two high-tech fitting bays and a wide assortment of interchangeable heads and shafts, you will see and feel a significant difference in accuracy, consistency and distance with the right clubs. We went through a couple fittings yesterday and have three more scheduled today.
