D'Lance Golf's Tour Van (formerly the Hogan Tour Van) (Courtesy of Golf Digest) Higher with less spin..drivers are optimized. We always tell our customers that they need to hit the ball higher with less spin to optimize distance. Well what we say has been validated by PGA Tour results over the last five years. Higher launch angles, lower spin rates are all leading to longer drives in 2012. Everyone is getting the most out of their drivers by optimizing the shaft, head design, loft and the ball they are playing. What are YOU waiting for?
True Temper Project X Monaco prototype shafts True Temper is making a limited run of these shafts available through True Temper Performance Fitting Centers. These shafts are individually flighted so each iron from 3-PW has its own unique ball flight. Obviously Darren Clarke liked them enough to win The Open. If you would like to reserve a set for yourself, contact us at info@dlancegolf.com or 303-730-2717. These shafts will start shipping September 15th. We prefer to sell the shafts installed but have been authorized by True Temper to sell them as sets for $320.00 US. Our installed price is $80 per club. We do not know exactly the stiffness or length of each club in the player's bag, but we can give you the following information about the shafts played: Manufacturer, stiffness (general), and shaft weight. The key thing to notice here is that every golfer is playing a different shaft weight and probably a different shaft final flex. Just because a PGA Tour player plays a 75, 85 or even 95 gram shaft in a X-tra stiff flex certainly does not mean you should play it.
