Well, Randy and I have played a little par 3 course in Loveland to sharpen up and I've been to the range 2 times in those two weeks.  We've also played a full 18 holes 3 times.  Here's how it went:
  1st time out: 112 - Very windy day, kind of frustrating but made several great shots that I was not capable of before
 
2nd time out: 103 - My personal best, very happy....more fun than I've ever had playing
 
3rd time out: 99 - I already reached my goal for the year in just my third time out
 
Again, thank you guys so much for your help.  Now, we're just getting into the golf season and I already have to set a higher goal for myself.  I still have room for improvement of course, but the game is so fun for me now.  Maybe by the end of this year, with some more practice, I'll break 90.  Unbelievable in one season!

News from the Re/Max Long Drive Championships - 2008

Congratulations to Derek Hines in making it to the Final 4 in the Championship bracket at the Re/Max World Long Drive Championships in the Open Division at Mesquite, NV. Derek's longest drive of 413 yards was made using a Cobra 6.5 degree driver with a Graphite Design Throttle shaft.
